Center Director
Avimor Academy is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Center Director to lead our early childhood education program with excellence, integrity, and heart.
This is an opportunity for a proven early childhood leader to help launch and grow a high-quality, community-centered childcare program designed to exceed expectations for families, staff, and children alike.
Our Director plays a pivotal role in shaping culture, mentoring leaders, building strong family partnerships, and ensuring operational and educational excellence across the center.
Position Overview
The Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and success of Avimor Academy. This includes staff leadership, regulatory compliance, enrollment management, family engagement, financial stewardship, and the execution of Avimor Academy’s vision and standards.
The Director works closely with ownership and leadership to ensure:
- A safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- A positive, professional, and supportive workplace for staff
- Strong communication and relationships with families
- Consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and educational expectations
Key Responsiblities
- Lead, coach, and support teaching and administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with Idaho licensing regulations and internal policies
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
- Oversee enrollment, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations
- Partner with families through clear, professional communication
- Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and curriculum implementation
- Support staff onboarding, evaluations, and professional development
- Serve as a visible, engaged leader within the school community
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Childcare Director or in a senior leadership role within early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of childcare licensing, staffing models, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and retain high-performing teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A calm, professional leadership presence
- A genuine passion for children, families, and staff success
