Avimor Academy is a brand-new, high-quality early learning center that just opened in May 2026, serving families in the Avimor, Eagle, Boise, and surrounding communities. We are building something exceptional from the ground up—and we are looking for passionate, motivated educators who want to be part of that journey.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the culture, classrooms, and experiences of a beautiful new center designed to exceed expectations for both children and families.
Position Overview
The Lead Teacher is responsible for leading a classroom, implementing curriculum, and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care, supervision, and learning environment of the classroom while developing foundational skills in early childhood education.
Key Responsiblities
Classroom Leadership & Safety
- Maintain active supervision and ensure a safe classroom environment at all times
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Establish strong routines and classroom structure
Curriculum & Instruction
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Support children’s cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development
- Adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs
Classroom Environment
- Create an organized, engaging, and welcoming classroom
- Guide behavior using positive, developmentally appropriate strategies
- Ensure smooth daily transitions and classroom flow
Family Communication
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with families
- Share updates on children’s progress and classroom activities
- Maintain confidentiality and strong professional boundaries
Team Leadership
- Support and mentor Assistant Teachers
- Model professionalism, teamwork, and strong classroom practices
- Collaborate with leadership and contribute to a positive school culture
